Out into the night
under starlit skies
and slivered moon
we danced to spirits’s song
and tales were told
of days to come
stories passed down
from the old ones, they say
of the time
of the Earthkeeper’s Journey
But wait! came the cry
carried on the wind
We must wait till morning
for This Journey to begin
early, before the break of day
So...early it is on this sacred day of Love
as crow, the keeper of the sacred laws
and knower of the “unknowable” mysteries of creation
calls for the world to awaken
adding his wisdom as the first drop of Amber falls
into the essence of the journey to come
as the spirit of joy prepared to join
owl – knower of what is hidden
gave one last hoot in blessing
for Earthkeeper
and as the light
began to split the sky
Hawk, the messenger circled round
joining in as Parsley – the protector
danced the way of the warrior
calling out to Myrrh to brighten the way
As Eagle, our connection with the Divine
gave his plaintive call
to let this journey begin....
the sky began to lighten
into the bright colors of dawn
as Sandalwood joined the dance
the Squirrels came to add
the balance of gathering and giving
Mother Earth sent blessings
as the spirit of Lotus
joined with her partner Oud
and in their swirl of musky heat
they dance the passion of the journey
into Earthkeeper’s heart
and the sky brightens
in hues of orange and gold
as the Sandhill Cranes
gather round
just as Rosewood steps in
and Sunlight hits the ground
and as the darkness fades away
Sambac joins the dance
to guide Earthkeeper’s way
as the great Oaks stretch their arms in the breeze
they call to Benzoin to anchor
their wisdom and their strength
as Neroli kisses the earth with full Sunshine to light Earthkeeper’s way
and this, my curious friend, is exactly how this journey begins....it is exactly as it happened this fine morning...let the journey begin!

You ask how I know to do this or that....and try as I might...all I can say is “How do you explain the unexplainable...you just have to experience it!” In truth, the oils will speak to you...softly at first...but they will show you what they do and where you will feel them most...Most of the language they speak is multi-dimensional....not so much in words...but through touch, feel, scent...and sometimes sound, color...so in my many years of curious seeking I began to put this piece of information together with that piece...much of it very ancient or esoteric in nature and have come up with a simplified way to understand a greater field of what they have to say.
It starts with “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...” Skip to the next idea -- that to know the true name of something/someone is to know their power...step that down to the idea of your birth name may be Jeffrey....but the name you are known by is Jeff...so Jeff is the harmony – the energy – that you are recognized or “known” by. So..in a simplified manner let’s say there is an oil we call Lavender...that is the name that it is known by except for scientists who would most likely refer to it by it’s latin name. But out here in the world it’s powers are known by Lavender. So...suppose I want to make a blend using Lavender...where do I start...how much or how little? Now comes the next piece of esoteric information...the idea of Numerology...but not as it’s usually done today based on Pythagorean number sequences....but based in the ancient Chaldean system which is closely tied to these esoteric teachings...and the harmonies of the universe. Now take this a step further and there is a tie between the numbers as figured by Chaldean numerology and music....more specifically the keys on a piano. Keep in mind that in Perfumery....the various perfumers talk about notes....base notes, middle notes, high notes...in the way you smell or experience this perfume or that one....but those notes are actually the “oils” they use to create that blend...or that perfume....then they go an muck it up by adding about 80% alcohol which makes volume but totally messes with the true scent.
Have I lost you yet? I asked you for your birthday....the day you were born...14...is the one thing that stays constant your entire life. Months change, years change, the variations of your name changes....but 14 is, in truth, your core harmony...to create a blend for you, I just took a collection of all of the oils that resonate with your harmony...whose “names” are numerological notes of 5, 14, 23, 32, 41, 50....then I sat them all out on the table in front of me and asked them all who wanted to dance with you...and they began to tell me the story of the dance as I related it to you.
How to decide on the number of drops....I look at their core number and the variations that it will reduce down to and, just like composing music, figure out which one’s will play the base notes, which will be the middle notes and which will sing the high notes... and just to be sure that I have understood exactly what it is to “sound/smell” like...on those that could go high or low....take a pendulum out and douse the correct harmony...once the whole of the song is written...douse it once again to make sure there is nothing missing...and we’re off to make beautiful music together!
Now...my thought was to create this symphony of 14 energy on the 14th...however, because there is some “important” something that you are going to need to do along this journey, the plant and earth spirits all told me no...we must do this at daybreak on the morning of the 15....which is a harmony of love, money, magic, and miracles but take it further 10/15/2009 this becomes 10 + 15 + 11 = 36 which is an even higher harmony of love, money, magic and miracles which also brings in balance of Personal Love with Universal Love – a balance of Material World with Spiritual World....Intuitive Creative Service - Brotherhood....important balancing factors for one who is an Earthkeeper....
