Jackie Renee Colorado PDF Print E-mail

Jackie

Curly blonde-headed leprechaun grandmother, Jackie comes with a warning label. Once you meet her, life as you know it will never be the same. She favors a T-shirt with the message, "So, I'm not perfect. Adjust!" as a kind of a "heads up folks" to any of those who might not be prepared for the adventure. Her personal philosopy is "Life is what happens while you're making other plans".

Born and raised in Southern Illinois, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, Jackie's profound life experiences helped her to "get over her small self" at an early age where she began to focus on that "Big Self" in 5-D Technicolor -- Jackie style.  Which means to say, fearlessly diving head first into life. As a result, nothing intimidates her. Nothing frightens her. In fact, she finds it all pretty funny often just cocking her head to one side and matter-of-factly commenting "well now, ain't that damned interesting" as she continues on with the adventure. This profoundly refreshing attitude to life takes most people by surprise. Her intelligence, wit, and breadth of information on just about everything metaphysical mixed in with a broad knowledge of business, world politics, science and plain old uncommon sense just add to the experience.

Interspersed in her exploration of life, Jackie has raised 3 daughters and owned and managed her own companies since she was 23 which includes a T-Shirt printing company, a commercial printing company, a medical textbook publishing company, an essential oil and aromatherapy business, and a business consulting firm -- all of which has now evolved into Nature's Island. Jackie is still active with Heart of the Dove Medicine Lodge as "info central" for an international network of scientists, doctors, teachers, and practitioners involved in alternative healing, research, and education.

Ascended from a long lineage of adventurers and healers...one distant grandfather signed the declaration of independence, another explored with Lewis and Clark, a great-great grandmother was a Saha Sapa Sioux medicine woman, a great grandmother was a Cherokee medicine woman, one great grandfather was a "country" doctor, another great uncle was a well known "faith healer" and energy worker that doctors would call on when they could do no more for their patients, and another great grandfather was an inventor who held the patent on the first washing machine and a special "pendulum" he used all over the country to douse out oil wells for wealthy oil tycoons...Jackie was born with the soul of an adventurer and the ability to heal, having understood the power of hands-on healing from an early age.

However, she didn't begin actively pursuing her Native American heritage until her youngest child was born. By the time her daughter was 13, they both began taking part in Sacred Ceremony and incorporating Native ways into their everyday lives. Jackie's personal Vision Quest was a key factor in leading her from being a publisher of Medical Textbooks into aromatherapy (that she often calls Plant Spirit Medicine), alternative healing and the desire to reintroduce Earth Ways and Sacred Ceremony back into life on many levels. Jackie has trained in many modalities and combines it all in her own uniquely effective way.  Simply stated..."How do you explain the unexplainable...you just have to experience it!"

Her Vision Quest led to the Keys where, with whales, dolphins and manatees as her personal "medicine" guides, she worked with the Dolphin Research Center as part of their rescue team, worked with a group doing Archaeology of Sunken Ships and was in charge of the Accounting Department for Key West Journal and The MarketShare Company as they planned and staged Fantasy Fest as a celebration of life in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. She stayed in the Keys for six years when she says "nature and the islands themselves told me it was time to leave". As an EarthKeeper, I was needed elsewhere, and when I finally arrived in Aripeka, I knew this was Home and Nature's Island wanted to be here."

Her native spirit name is 'Walks The Great Beyond", but she feels that the name her dear friend and teacher, Jon Peniel, calls her -- "Blonde air headed coyote on the floor laughing with rose colored glasses who sweats with men and thinks like woman" ... is a better fit! Jackie is looking forward to diving into the adventure of helping people reconnect with nature as a way to balance and heal their lives through Project NatureConnect and Nature's Island Retreats.

Daphne Frampton PDF Print E-mail

Daphne Frampton

In 1998, while living on the unspoiled Rain Forest Island of Dominica, West Indies – home to 365 rivers that journey from the mountains to the sea – Daphne was inspired to create these Natural & Organic skin care products that are healing to mind, body and spirit.

Upon returning to the US, Daphne worked with a lab for a year where she learned the fine art of natural soap making. She then began creating her own line of natural soaps using the herbs and oils she had come to love while living in Dominica.

As her clientele grew, Daphne decided to take it to the next level as she began taking various classes in skin care and went on to become a licensed aesthetician. As she learned more about how our skin works, she also began to understand why the natural ingredients from the tropical rainforests worked so beautifully yet there were very few companies creating skin care based on these natural ingredients and the few who did were only adding token amounts of natural ingredients to otherwise chemical based formulas. This prompted Daphne to create her luscious collection of all natural skin care products.

In her continuing education as a certified Aesthetician, Daphne has studied and apprenticed in some of the finest spas in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. These cultures truly understand the intrinsic value of the flowers and herbs that are grown in the wild in those countries and how powerfully they enhance the effectiveness of their spa treatments and their healing effects on the skin. Daphne is also a Raw Foods Chef.

We are honored to have Daphne on our team and it is our deepest pleasure to share her line of the finest hand made, all Natural and Organic Skin Care with you. We hope you enjoy Nature Island West Indies Botanicals For Your Skin as much as we do!

Connect with Daphne at Nature Island Botanicals on Facebook.
